Privacy policy
You can use AppMoney without an account. This policy explains the little we handle either way, why we handle it, and what stays on your device.
Account optional
Browse and look up any app without signing in. An account exists only to sync your lists.
On your device
Watchlists, collections and filters live on your device until you choose to sync them.
Nothing sold
We do not sell, rent or trade information about you, and we run no ads or cross-app tracking.
Who we are
AppMoney shows estimated revenue, downloads and growth for apps on the App Store, on iPhone and on the web. This policy covers the app and this website. Questions go to hello@appmoney.ai.
Using AppMoney without an account
Browsing, searching, filtering and looking up any app all work anonymously. If you never sign in, we never learn your name or email address, and your lists stay on the device that made them.
What an account holds
An account exists for one reason: to sync your watchlists and saved filters between your devices. When you create one we store your email address, a name if you give us one, a hashed password, and the lists you choose to sync. If you sign in with Apple or Google we receive whatever that service passes us, which may be a relay address rather than your real one.
We use it to keep you signed in, to sync, and to email you about your account when something needs your attention. We do not use it for marketing without asking first. Delete your account and we delete the record; write to us and we will do it the same week.
What stays on your device
Your home screen order, recently viewed apps and any lists you have not synced are stored locally. They are yours; we cannot see them. Deleting the app deletes them, and if they were never synced we cannot restore them for you.
What we never collect
Account or no account, we do not collect or store:
- Your phone number or postal address.
- Contacts, photos, location, health data or calendar entries.
- Advertising identifiers. We run no ads and no cross-app tracking.
- Payment details. AppMoney is free and has no purchases.
Lookups you ask for
When you search for an app, open a listing or share an App Store link into AppMoney, the app sends the identifier of that app to our service so it can return the figures. We do not build a browsing history out of those requests or attach them to your account. Standard server logs may briefly record technical details such as an IP address for security and abuse prevention, and are kept only as long as needed for that purpose.
Where the figures come from
Revenue, download and growth figures come from licensed third-party market data providers. Those providers supply market-level estimates to us; they do not receive information about you from AppMoney. The figures are estimates and may differ from a developer's own reporting, as set out in the terms.
Apple and the App Store
You download AppMoney from the App Store, and Apple handles that transaction under its own privacy policy. If you have opted in to sharing diagnostics with developers, Apple may pass us aggregate crash and performance reports; they arrive without anything that identifies you.
Children
AppMoney is a tool for people who work on and invest in apps. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Your rights
Privacy laws in many places give you the right to access, correct, export or delete the personal information a company holds about you. If you have an account, write to us and we will export or erase it. If you never made one, there is nothing for us to hand over: your data is on your device, under your control.
Changes
If AppMoney ever starts handling more than it does today, we will update this policy and note the change in the app before the new version collects anything. The date at the top always reflects the current version.
